Financial ServicesLong Range Financial StrategyReseach and Fundamentals I take a fundamental and guarded approach to your retirement assets. I am a big believer in dollar cost averaging ...but I also try to help you identify major shifts in market conditions. Many people ask me if we are at the bottom yet. Do market prices reflect the level of risk in our economy and business climate? I would continue to stay on the sidelines right now. I continue to suggest that clients make their contribution to their retirement plan(s) but to allocate the funds to cash rather than equities. Do we know what the effect of a failed economic stimulus program will be to our economy and businesses? I would want my clients to be prepared for such an event. That said; for a long range financial strategy I believe in solid value in a diverse portfolio. Identifying your goals, comfort with risk, and time horizons are critical to making sound investment choices. Ultimately, it comes down to maintaining a disciplined approach. Is this the type of long range financial strategy you are looking for? If it is, then we would be a good match. I would be happy to assist you in achieving your goals. Here is an interesting tutorial from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and The Center for Financial Studies at Southern New Hampshire University. Titled, "Portfolio & Risk Management" , it is an excellent resource to understand some fundamental investment concepts. It is required reading for all my clients. |
